Grandparents for Beginners

So we wanted to surprise our parents with the news, and what better occasion to do so than Christmas!
We sent them the book "Grosseltern fuer Beginner" (grandparents for beginners) and it was a big hit. They are so excited!!!

Cabo San Lucas December 2008

Cabo San Lucas was fabulous. Nice and relaxed, no morning sickness or other symptoms for me, and not showing yet. What a nice time! We spent most of the time just hanging out in the sun, eating lots of food, drinking lots of alcohol (that's Tom only, obviously)...we loved every minute of it.

December 2008 - Many tests

Several home and doctor's pregnancy tests confirmed that in fact we are expecting our first. The dr had some concerns about hormone levels being low so I went for many tests, including ultrasounds and blood tests. They turned out good so I am actually still expecting!
We planned our babymoon for the week before Christmas in Cabo San Lucas so that I can still enjoy the beach before becoming a beached whale myself.

November 28 2008 - BFP

November 28 2008, Day after Thanksgiving: Big surprise, a positive pregnancy test. Tom and I are thrilled and cautiously excited!!!
4 more pregnancy tests later, even more excited...
